Granary Square Brasserie
An extensive menu of bistro fare with vibrant blue interior details, cozy booths, & high ceilings.

Dishoom King's Cross brings the warmth and bustle of a Bombay café to a beautifully converted Victorian stable building near Granary Square, serving up fragrant curries, buttery naan and the famous bacon naan roll from breakfast onwards. There's often a queue, but the staff are genuinely lovely about it — they'll bring chai out to families waiting in line, which makes the whole thing feel far less of a chore with little ones in tow. Once inside, it's a proper family-friendly experience with highchairs, baby changing, buggy access throughout, a kids' menu, and outdoor seating for when the weather plays ball; vegan options are well catered for on the menu too.

The secret to a calmer meal out? Something to do that isn't a phone. Each pack is full of screen-free bits and bobs to keep little hands busy at the table and buy you a proper sit-down. Three printable packs, one for each age (toddler, preschool, primary) — free, straight to your inbox.
